Hubble Spots A Cosmic Whirl !

Hubble has spotted a cosmic whirl in the center of  a galaxy NGC 524 (Fig 1.1 )

This galaxy is located in the constellation of  Pisces (Fig 2.2 ), about  (approx.) 90 million light - years away.

NGC 524 is a lenticular galaxy which means neither elliptical nor spiral. A NGC 524 is a lenticular galaxy full of old red stars which is surrounded by little gas and dust.The NGC 524 maintains the spiral-like structure, explaining its detailed, complicated structure.
